Mary Jo Henderson of St. George, finished sixth place in age group 33-34 while competing in the Rage in this Sage Olympic distance triathlon Saturday.

Mary Jo did quite well for her first attempt at this triathlon as she primarily races sprints. Henderson had a great swim, run and bike split during a windy hilly course.

Rich heard, a 44-year-old from St. George, finished seventh place overall and first in his age group on the men’s side.

After overcoming a major cold swim and major high winds, this hilly course is definitely becoming one of the noteworthy to do triathlons for future triathletes.
