Mesquite Nevada Sports Complex | Desert Falls Sports Resorts
Desert Falls International Sports Resorts is building a 920 acre $500 million sports complex in Mesquite Nevada – Paul Morris of Desert Falls called it “the premier location for amateur sports in the United States.” The Mesquite sports complex may also draw in professional athletes for off-season training. Like AC Green’s basketball training camps for one example.
The impact the Mesquite sports complex will bring to Mesquite Nevada’s local economy will be huge. National athletic events will bring in enormous amounts of people. The hotels in Mesquite and in nearby St. George Utah will be filled to the maximum capacity. The business will also overflow into Las Vegas - some 75 miles from Mesquite.
Besides the boost to tourism and local housing, Paul Morris of Desert Falls International Sports Resorts has expressed he wants to hire locally as much as possible to eventually fill up to 500 full time positions at the sports complex thus spreading the wealth through job opportunities to Mesquite NV residents and some overflow to St. George people working in Mesquite.
Adidas athletic company has already committed to be a cornerstone. The Mesquite complex when fully completed can draw a weekend event with 10,000 participants and spectators to Mesquite.

I recently attended the Golf Experience during the May 21st-23 opening ribbon cutting and it was a site to see.
It was really a blast to participate and enjoy the progress they have made so far.
Refer to my original blog for more details.

How many racquetball courts? When will the complex open?
The Mesquite Regional Sports park is open now.
The ribbon cutting ceremonies were held during the third week in May 2009, with a golf experience and a RE/MAX long drive on that Saturday May 22 and Sunday may 23.
The official date for team competitive sports has been said to be in May 2010 with a soccer game in the first week or two
The final construction is to be completed in 2012.
The number of racquetball courts I don’t currently know, but I will get with their staff and give you a number in the next week, if they have gotten back to us by then.
When I was there on May 23rd for the Golf Experience and Long Drive by RE/MAX.
A the time there was two football, soccer, rugby or lacrosse fields finished with associated pavilion, parking etc.
Thanks for your questions!
There will be a total of 10 racquetball courts with one championship court with 100 seats. The racquetball courts are scheduled for the future build-out and the exact date is not scheduled yet.
At one point lacrosse fields were mentioned. Are lax fields still in the plans? The area is in need of lacrosse fields for camps, tournaments and games.
From my current understanding…there are to be lax fields for use by Lacrosse, Rugby etc. The facility is a for profit sports complex, so I assume that keeping the fields full and people attending has to be one of their highest priorities. Great question. I will update this subject and many more as the build out occurs.
I am interested in bringing a private school group of 30 boys between the ages of 13-16. Are there any courts or field available for rent for about 1 1/2 hours on Sunday, August 1 2010 from about 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm? Please either provide me with your phone number or call me at ###555#### Thank you. Name:
I would be happy to help you. Call you soon.
When will the archery range be open?

The project is now economically challenged…so to speak. I would contact the city planners and get any referrals from them. Google Mesquite, Nevada. They are really quite helpful. Ride On!
Can I get an address of the sports complex and directions please.
I you have a smart phone, put in Wall Mart, Mesquite Nevada. The second exit coming from Salt Lake City, Utah or the first exit coming from Las Vegas. You can use GPS from there. Use Google Earth or any GPS.
I have included a map too.
